    Rampage load sensing delete

How difficult is this to remove? I don't need it, but there looks to be a LOT of extra lines back there. Has anyone done a write-up removing theirs?

    Re: Rampage load sensing delete

I deleted mine. No ill effects.

It's pretty simple really. But I will warn you, the chances of getting it out without destroying the OE lines is slim. When I restored my Scamp, I replaced all the hard lines in the truck front to back, so I was able to custom bend mine around to match the original mounting position for the rubber lines going to the axle.

Trace the lines back to the front so you know which line goes where. Remove the load sensing valve, and simple direct plumb the hard lines to the rubber hoses. Simple as that...

I had to replace all of my brake lines on mine, so I did a front circuit and a rear circuit and used an adjustable prop valve for the rear. Haven't driven the car enough to say how well it works

I already have new line, I'm not worried about that. I also have all the tools to bend, straighten, and flare it. I figure 33 year old brake line is going to give me a fit. Did you replace from the MC back for simplicity?

I'm trying to map out where the lines from the front go so I can just replace the entire thing from the MC back. NiCopp line is ready and waiting, just trying to plan it all out.

I replaced from the distribution block back. The two lines from the master cylinder to distribution block were in very good shape.

Sorry for the sidebar, but was curious if a 1.5 dearch is supposed to equal more than a 1.5" drop when the car is back on the ground?
Did you deal with a local business?
(I think i need to investigate a similar deal for the van.)

I got my springs from here: http://www.stengelbros.com/

Better reviews than Eaton. It dropped the car WAY more than 1.5". If you're not careful you'll trip into the bed of the truck, it's so low.

After my de-arch and the 'flip' I had to add some little 6.5" airbags to raise it back up. Unloaded I run like 3-4PSI in them, 30PSI last time I had 11-1200 lbs back there.
