Using a 04 Stage2 ECU on a currently bone stock 03 PT Cruser GT???

I recently bought a 03 PT GT with plans, that when it is paid off in 3 years I get my wrench to put the motor, some of the dash, and the electronics into the 1890 lb Matchbox. I figure if I only get 245 hp out of it and the car gains 200 lbs with the swap, it should still run in the 12.7 range or quicker and get better mpg to boot. It currently gets a crappy 21 while the PT GT gets 27.

First off, make my own CAI for it, larger injectors like the 05 SRT4 had...or slightly bigger. Larger cat and spiral flow muffler or SRT4 resonator.

Question...If I use the 04 Stage 2 ECU on what I just described, stock turbo...what are your guesses on hp increase?
Also, if I use the S2, will it eliminate the CEL if I run a gutted cat?

My 05 SRT4 in two separate weekends ran within .019 in three passes and all a tiny bit over 100 mph...It was stock back then except for Mopar blow off plate. I wish I left it alone, after more power was added it was four tenths from pass to pass, but FUUUNNNNN!

One more question to those of you that bracket race with he S2, how consistent? I was planning on using a stock 04 ECU or S1, but...Id like to have more fun. I will be removing the rear bench seat for less weight too, but wont gut the heck out of it like I did with Matchbox.

My SRT-4 with the Stage II runs very consistent. 13.6 on streets. 13.2 on slicks. Of course, I launch it very easy and also shift it gently at 5600. Boost varies greatly with weather conditions, but the ET's and traps are very consistent.

Thanks....just thinking of the future, swap it all into Matchbox.

All the Mopar Stage PCM's ignore the second 02 sensor, so no code for the gutted cat.

I run a catless downpipe with the stock PCM, I machined an anti fouler to accept the 02 sensor, it pulls the sensor
just far enough out of the pipe to trick the computer.
