I wouldn't say cured, I would say managed. And by that i mean i raced with extra fuel in the tank.
I was between 1/4 and 1/2, and for my 3rd run when i inspected the datalog, i saw some knock retards while in 1st gear, and there were some singular lean AFRwb readings. I never felt anything, but it appears the fuel pump must have been drawing in a bit of air. That must be the fine line.
Before the 4th run, i added 1 gallon of gas, and didn't see any issues in 1st gear.
I have not made any permanent changes yet.

if you don't drive this car on the street you could add a sump to the bottom of the gas tank
In doing so you could can a battle for the tank if needed too
But you're not supposed to have fuel lines running from the bottom (back) of the tank if driving on the street as it's not deemed as safe
Or you could install a small secondary tank that will not allow fuel to slosh around by simply being to small for the gas to have any place to go
I've been leary to drive it much on the street with the CSR electric water pump. I have taken it out on just quick test rides when needed.
I think a sump is one of the better solutions, but due to tank placement on the van, i wouldn't want any part of the tank lower than it already is. That would mean making a reverse sump, meaning raising the tank floor everywhere else but the pump suction area.
Although i haven't decided on which way I'll go, i do have a new tank that has the stock type baffle. I thought to use it with a newer pump canister that has the built in reservoir. Between the two, it should allow me the slosh protection without needing a second pump and reservoir. But still mulling it over.

Here is some runs shot by a videographer that was at the track that day with a Mustang club.
The first run i made he set up some cameras in the van. And he got my 3rd run against the white Firebird.
He may seperate all his van footage out, and if he does I'll post it.
There's two runs of mine hidden in here. And he has some video bits of the red challenger scat pack that bested me on my 2nd run.
