I want a silent exhaust. I don't want to hear the exhaust, not even when I get on it.
Other than getting a electric vehicle. What do I need to get close to it?
Mufflers I tried.
Straight though muffler

Is this a parody thread?
two ice picks ..
bonus .. no more nagging
Super easy, just weld a block off plate over the exhaust exit, make sure it's airtight. You won't hear a thing I promise.

2 slightly more restrictive mufflers in parallel with 2 tips past the bumper.
you keep the flow for power and since they are more restrictive, you get less drone as well.

Needs to be 3 inch.

No. My ears can't take the noise anymore.

Let me start it with you and see how that goes.

The cheap factory replacements work pretty well and keep the exhaust quiet. Engine noise is the same, but you can't hear it at all inside.

AJ. Just push a potato up the exhaust. Works just as well and way faster and cheaper. Happy Holidays from N.C. to the Left Coast Pal, Jer
Even if you were able to eliminate all exhaust noise you would still have intake and mechanical noise to deal with.

go to local muffler shop...
say " i want you to make this as quiet as possible.
pay 200$.. be happy.
seriously my friend works at a muffler axle shop. they do 10 exhausts a day.. he knows how to many it say your name if thats what you want from it.
go see a local guy. tell him what you want.
no one checked into this more?
it actually works from what ive seen on the net.
http://forums.corral.net/forums/gene...tely-gone.html
it will take some math and some calculating but it should work.
of course, for a 4 cyl the pipe should be 2x as long as a v8 from what i read.
im gonna try it. id like to remove all my mufflers and see how bad it would be
ill put it as far to the rear of the vehicle as possible.
for those with side pipes, you could use the rest of a regular exhaust in the normal exhaust location capped off teed into the side pipe.
this seems to be only solution to drone that doesnt reduce power.
