I have a 90 daytona 2.5 that is sitting in my driveway.
I've sold a ton of parts off it, but it still has lots of valuable parts, they are just slow sellers I guess.
I cant keep this car in my driveway anymore.
The front spindles have sold so it would have to be dragged up onto a flatbed. The wheels are just sitting there.
Since the transmission and some internal engine parts have sold, none of the pick-a-part places will take it.
Even tow yards I've called end up flaking and not coming to get it for free.
I did put it on craigslist for free and got alot of responses, but I'm worried about getting the paperwork right. I dont want this car coming back to bite me later with "well you are still the owner blah blah so when it didnt pass smog/ran into that school bus blah blah its your fault". All the paperwork I do have is legit and clear..I have the title and registration (california non-op) and its all in my name.
If I were in PA I bet a dozen TD'ers would come grab it in an instant, but for whatever reason they are few and far between in CA.
Can someone help me figure out a way to get this in the hands of a TD'r so it doesnt go to waste? Its free at this point.
I'm pretty sure most of the parts on this list are still in it, plus more:
4 snowflake wheels
4 tires with lots of tread left..I think they are 5 years old
2 additional 15" wheels from caravan with slicks mounted (they are 8 years old though..not cracked but probably not safe to use)
Struts/shocks/front springs are all only a few years old with 10k to 30k miles
A/C was working so all those components are still good
Good Alternator! Was running great and replaced only a few thousand miles ago. No squeaks. More info and pics available.
G-head: Cleaned and surfaced but not pressure tested. Comes with valves, springs and retainers.
G-body ball joints NIB! Set of 2, Gp Sorenson brand
Tachometer Remote mount w/pickup, like new condition, equus brand, 8krpm, perfect for modified vehicles with no tach!
Distributor From a 2.5 T1 common block. I believe its original chrysler.
Includes cheap wires,cap, and rotor, which are all usable still. No hep.
Passenger power/heated mirror from 90 daytona! Have the usual cosmetic damage from being outside 26 years but are otherwise functional!
Two good front cloth seats, One has small hole in headrest where stiching came apart but its very minor and easily fixed.
Full dashboard, center console, instrument cluster, switch cowl, etc..

Missing parts:
Car had minor read-end collision which I dont think damaged chassis. All sheet metal from rear up is great.
Rear interior is gone
Pistons/rods are gone
Front knuckles/calipers are gone.
Hood has holes cut in it for hood pins
Windshield is cracked
