these things look crazy? are they for n/a application? the "grooves" on the side are interesting... can you place them next to a t2 piston, I'm trying to figure out how high up the first ring is located... and do these use "stock" rings? also, you say full floater, but is there an area for the spiral lock? if not, they wouldn't be full floater, the wrist pin would have to be pressed into the rod still to prevent it from contacting cyl wall

I know the difference between press fit and floating pins. They do have a groove for the locks. I didn't look up what the stock ring sizes were so I can't say if they will work on these pistons. I don't know if I have stock piston to compare too. I'll have to see.

No pistons to compare to. I do know these are flat top and a replacement for the 2.2 (1.5MM oversize bore). The rings are placed differently than the factory pistons. Especially the compression rings. Notice how the oil ring groove is lower like a 2.5 CB. These are not 2.5 pistons, though.

I wasn't trying to insult your knowledge at all, I just couldn't see the lock groove in the pic. these pistons look kind of cool, and "might" work for something ive been brewing up, but not sure yet. obviously being hypers I am a little weary, and I don't like the fact that the top ring is so close to the top of the piston, still debating if the risk is worth the reward? these don't come with rings do they?

I did not take it that way. That is why I put the thumbs up smiley. I understand your reservations. I was thinking of building another engine for mine, but I needed the money for other things so I decided to sell these. I personally don't think it will hurt anything having the upper ring where it is, especially if you add slightly more gap. But, I'm not a master engine builder so I take my own view with a grain of salt, also.
