General question. I have a wheel that is white, 15 inch diameter, Shelby pumper; is it 205/55/R15? That is the tire size for my 89' Daytona Shelby, except is it 205/55R16. I want to use this wheel as a spare.

I didn't think you could get white 15" pumpers. Either way, they're easy to identify because the 15" wheels are smooth in between the blades and the 16" wheels are ribbed there. The 16" wheels are also directional.
Any way, for a 15" spare I would go with a 195/60r15 or a 205/60r15. Which ever one is cheapest.

Oh, I would add that in a P body spare tire well the 205/60r15 is a bit of a press fit. If you don't want to tug on the tire while on the side of the road, a 195/60r15 would be a wiser choice.
Thanks Cordes,
Yes, it is smooth in between the blades. I am going to heed what you said and go with the cheaper and easier size. Secondly, it does look like it could have come off a P-body!
