Yes, although an effort exists to support people in a 'case by case' basis.
Mass production cannot be supported - no time nor the energy is available.

If it's a going away present and you have stated that you want folks to be able to use it and others not to be able to profit from it (and that they have agreed to) why not just give the actual code itself to someone like wowzer?
I mean you don't want optimized software to just sit and be wasted right ? And you seem to be agonizing over the details on how to create a present on your terms....
Maybe it's time to back the truck up to someone else's garage and say "where you want me to put all this stuff " like what I'm guessing happened to you .
And who better than wowzer, the creator of the calibration editing software that we use, who just handed it to us and said "have fun", to create the next chapter in what these old cars can do.
The most freeing feeling I get, is when I give away things that I've held tightly onto for years and really never got to use them fully but now get to see them come to fruition and put a smile on someone else's face.
Just a thought.
