    523/543/568

    I am looking for a transmission to build for the CSX. Not super picky, Slight bias towards the '3.77 style' 523/543 but that is not a deal breaker hardly. A 3.85 or 3.50 final drive would be ok as well. 568 considered as well but I'll be blunt and say I will not be paying big $$$ unless your ready and willing to remove the shifter housing and take a few pictures to prove its not ragged out on the speed gear clutch teeth. I am at 20659, will drive ~4hrs~ in any direction.

    Saw a 543 in jyard in New Ringgold Pa probably 2 weeks ago. Its a you pull it yard, trans Is like 85$

    I have a 568 and a 523. The 568 came out of a running and driving 1990 Shelby Daytona. Shifted fine. I bought the 523 used. Sell stated it was good, but later I found out the guy is a tool, so who knows. I probably took the pipe on the 523.
    I cleaned both up and put them on the shelf. I haven't looked inside either one, but I will if you are interested.
    I was going to put the 568 in my Lancer, but there's no real reason to replace a prefectly fine 555.
    I have shifters, cables (NOS and Used), and some NOS shift knobs as well.
