Super 60 oil drain tube question

Is the oil drain tube for a Super60 different compared to a T2?Turbo started smoking at track. There is a slight kink in hose to oil drain that wasnt there with the t2,Im hoping its because I need a different oil drain but most likely seals are going out of turbo.

No it is not. You would need to loosen & re-clock the exhaust housing bolts to correct this. After this is done you might need to re-clock compressor housing too.

Re: Super 60 oil drain tube question

Does the turbo drain tube align with the block tube? If not, then loosening bolts and re-aligning the tubes would be necessary as Todd mentioned.

Is the joining hose rubber or Silicon? Rubber heater hoses should not be used for this application as the nylon braid will shrink from the heat and could possibly kink the hose. Also, the heater hose will not resist exposure to oil.
