    ^Those look like the factory freeze plugs Ace, I believe I'd knock those out and install brass plugs...

    While you are at it you should port match the oil pump hole to the block. Per Ed Peters there is about 8 HP right there waiting to be unleashed.

    I've had multiple people tell me to do this and I mean I'm gaining around that much hp deleting the balance shafts. But maybe I'll port it out tomorrow if I'm in the mood to be cleaning metal shavings haha.

    Finished up blocking the balance shafts oil hole, installed pickup tube, oil pan and installed the head today.

    So I finished doing the Wrx idler mod and I made a mod of my own to replace the stock T3 idler using an Srt 4 idler. Then I installed and set the timing belt tension.

    So yesterday I installed the motor and did as much as I could hooking everything up, now it's just exhaust and turbo lines pretty much.
