How much torque can a 62te take

How much torque can a 62te take before slippage or physical damage I know they made some up grades to them around 2010 . I just purchased a 2015 Town and Country and i love it . done some small intake mods to it that the wife unit has not found yet but im looking around and it looks like a turbo would fit like a glove down in the tunnel after the cats or there is a blower from the chargers and the jeeps that just might bolt on with little mods

263 lb ft. That way it makes it past the warranty period.

Given that it's "torque rating" is a 2 on a scale of 1-8 I wouldn't expect it to live long with any kind of hot rodding or heavy towing/abuse. Probably not the technical answer you were hoping for.

They already can't handle the torque of the pentastar 3.6- i remember one day a few months ago where we had 6 of the 2014-15 vans in for warranty trans work.

Sounds like one would be wise to wait a few years for the "upgraded" version to be created...
