Might turn into a long story here, but basically my TU GT3076 uses the chrysler style .63 A/R turbine housing and ATP ultimate swingvalve. The TU wastgate mount is a Z bracket so a straight shaft wastegate actuator is used (currently the new garrett purchased with the turbo). I had a min boost of 8-9 psi.
Now that I'm bumping the boost up, i find i can't hold more than about 22-23 psi with the enlarged swingvalve port & puck (currently 38mm puck with a 34.5mm port).
I purchased a Kinugawa, with 2 different springs, and had some different arms and its own flat bracket. To use the included bracket, i would have to use the bent arm. And in trying to install i found that arm might be too long. So i ended up reinstalling the garrett one.
It would be easier to sort out if the turbo was off the car, but i don't have to time to do that before Cecil. So i'm hoping tightening up on the garrett arm will improve this some.
I think at some point i need to try and get some data on exhaust pressure pre-turbo.
