Not mine, just sharing. Might make a good van to convert to turbo for someone.

    Drive it home! Looks good.

Nah...decided I don't need another vehicle. The ONLY other vehicle I want is a Consulier!)

    Re: 4-cylinder Caravan 5-speed

$$$$$. That and I just don't need another vehicle. I still have to get my '90 Daytona shipped across the country and a whole big storage unit...4 years after I've moved! No room really for any of it out here. And I'm still neck deep in the Masi 16V conversion for the one 8V TC...some "easy" stuff turned out to not be as "easy" as I'd hoped and it doesn't help that I'm a perfectionist.

If a hard top one ever comes up that is in my price range, but is simply an ugly duckling or needs some work...I might be all over it. But, knowing some of the idiosyncrasies of the Consulier, I have a set of requirements in order for me to be comfortable buying one. That dumb windshield is one...being as it's unobtainium.

My windshield has ClearPlex on it. It has saved it a couple times.

5speed mpg for $900 and runs and drives great... man thats one cheap hauler. Half what a beat to death compact pickup would run, and I'd prefer it to the pickup. Still amazes me how worthless these are.

    How much was the clearplex??

Reaper, a couple of us looked into lexan, and it wouldn't cost much to have them made if/when the replacements run out. IIRC it was under $200 each for a run of like ten or twenty. Not sure what the optical quality would be.
