    Moog Spring

looking around at springs noticed that moog has several sets of springs out..

i run a pretty heavy sub in my g body i noticed that the rear spring for a shadow vert has a much higher rating..

    moog cc703 rear

    Bar Diameter - Inches0.54
    End Type 1Square
    End Type 2Pigtail
    Free Height - Inches12.06
    ID - Inches4.03
    Installation Height - Inches8.44
    Load - lbs620.00
Spring Rate - lbs per inch194.00
    Spring TypeVariable Rate

and for the g body and several others..

    moog cc711 rear

one has a higher rate.. one has a higher load. the rate difference is small but the load difference is quite a bit.

anybody have any input on that?? thinking i run an extra 100lbs in my hatch between sub and battery. the extra weight capability would be great but i am confused as to rate
