How should I store my 555 and 568?

After checking Google et al, I have not seen any really good suggestions. Here is what I was planning to do.

1)place plugs into seal for axle.
2) grease spline/TOB etc to prevent rust.
2) overfill with oil, how about a 50 weight here?
3) place on shelf to avoid water damage.
4)Seal in a heavy bag.
5)one a year, flip over the units to recoat the internals with oil.

Suggestions? Thanks

one trip to auto parts store
buy one rattle can of "engine store"

I'd take the shifter mec box off the top and let the mist fly ...rotate the guts while spraying

should be good for a long time and will not drip madly

and yeah axle hole plugs
if it's already had oil in it you can never get all the oil back out again .. all at once lol

I'm glad that making that video might help someone out, but I hope nobody has to go through all that. It was pretty terrible.
