    T3 Consulier - ignition problems

I have the blue Consulier from Mike Wah.
The car was cutting out while driving. For awhile I could wiggle the key and it would come back on.
Till one day it didn't come back on ...had to get towed home.
I assumed I had a bad ignition switch but installing a new mopar one did not change anything.
With help from guys here on the forum ( Aj Rick and jjp,) I have done some diagnostic work and replace asd and fuel pump relay. Fuel pump has pressure when cycling key but doesn't hold pressure. Currently no spark.

Tested the wires from the ignition switch up to the asd relay this is what I found ( excuse my messy writing )

Just looking for insight. Are there fusable links between the ignition switch and the asd? I can't find any.

The chassis harness is 1988 Daytona. The engine harness is 91 spirit rt.

    Thanks in advance!!

There shouldn't be anything between the ign switch and the ASD relay as far as fuse links etc. The blue wire is the J1 circuit. It energizes the Z1 curcuit which has the FP and a host of other things on it. The fact that you have power at the blue wire on the ASD, have replaced the ASD, and the fuel pump comes on, says to me that your problem is elsewhere.

I'm not familiar enough with the TIII to give spark trouble shooting thoughts.

Can you verify power getting to the Coil pack, you said no spark so something is not powering the coil or the Cam or crank sensor are not working, would be my guesses to start looking at

Gotta check coil pack. The tach jumps when key is turned on , which I am told, means the crank sensor is working. The cam sensor is calibrated correctly, but is not new.
I thought someone told me that engine will fire with a good crank sensor, and a bad cam sensor but not the other way around. ( That is true in many other cars.)
I could be off the mark but I think the ohm reading was way to high and I thought it was therefore creating too much resistance at the asd.
And also have only 0.18 volts on another wire, which could indicate that the ignition switch was not getting adequate voltage on that particular circuit of the asd?

Anyway, thanks for the tips so far.

So after drafting JP into the battle , 3 hours of his phone consultation later - car is running.
Would never have happened with out him.
A wire( #18) from sbec to coil had a short and was not energizing the coil.
ASD was good , cam and crank sensors good , sbec was good.

Wow. It was so amazing to have such great help. Thanks again TM folks!!

If anyone needs me I'll be grinding the nickels I picked up late last night under the drive through window into dimes.
