are knuckles and brakes from a 90 daytona G-body desirable?

I simply dont know. Are these items I should keep and try to sell, and what would be a good price? I'm going to have to scrap the car soon and I'm not sure if these are something in demand or not. It will take some effort to remove them and put the car on stands with a cover so if they arent really valuable to anyone then I'd just scrap them. 90 daytona 2.5 (G-body)

The bearings are bolt in on the front.

looks like the rotor OD is 11"

any idea what typical asking price is? I'm assuming for someone wanting these, they want the calipers + knuckles right? But what about the rotors and pads? I'm pretty sure these are in good condition (minus the surface rust). I can take them off and clean the rust off, then do measurements and pics if desired.

also, if machining of some kind is required to modify the knuckle or what not to fit an L-body (I've seen something like this mentioned but have no idea what the details are), I may be able to do that as well.

Looks like calipers are bolt on I think?

The struts and springs should be good to go. I replaced the struts and rear shocks for sure within the last 35k, and I think maybe also the front springs. So you would be interested in just the struts and springs? Front and rear or just front?

its actually just an 89 daytona es turbo..I think that maybe it has the brakes described here:

Seems there is some modification required to fit an L body but only if you are using the stock struts. If you go aftermarket I think it will depend on the setup you have. Running the 91 style on my car, looks like that I think.

    I'd ask $100 at minimal.
Problem is weight. They are probably close to 90 - 100 lbs all together. Finding a buyer that will pay the shipping cost would be the challenge. Probably will cost $1-$1.5 per lbs to ship those parts.

yes these are definitely going to be heavy..however I have a big bag of tricks for shipping stuff, I bet I can get the cost way down. both rotors should fit into one large flat rate box, two calipers could fit in another, so thats around $36 total in shipping so far.. leaving the knuckles...not sure what those would be yet until I look closely at them and take some measurements. if the buyer is a state or so away from socal, could go fedex ground/smartpost and it should be reasonable..ill have to see

yes sir and yes they are vented..I believe I have the entire brake system except for the proportioning valve in the engine compartment, which I already sold

I guess soon I should move this whole thing into the for sale section..if anyone is interested in any of these parts please PM me

X2 for $100 being a fair asking price for the pair of spindle/caliper/rotor assy's.

They sell pretty easily. The brakes were the first parts to go when I parted my 1990 Daytona. TC guys like the booster, pedals and bracket to convert those cars from the Teves brakes.
