    555 G-Body Shift Cable Routing

1987 Daytona Shelby Z, A-555 transmission, using new heim joint shift cables. I am running a cast iron Turbos Unleashed header, custom turbo, full 3 inch swingvalve, and 3 inch pipe all the way back. I unfortunately never took pictures from under the car before I removed the original cables and transmission 8 years ago (or the last time a few months ago). I am wondering if I have the one cable installed incorrectly. If I get it where it doesn't touch the exhaust, it seems to have too sharp of a bend in it. But it doesn't appear that I can run it differently. I would have to go above the exhaust, through the heat shielding, then cross back over to hit the hole in the floor pan.

Looks fine to me. How does the shift feels?

Shifts feel perfect. I was just afraid of burning the new cable up.
