Have been noticing the CEL coming on momentarily after sitting for a few minutes, when driving during hot days. Last week as I was getting on to the freeway the cell. Came on and stayed on, and would not let the engine go above 2250 rpm. Was better at 2000 rpm. Checking the 90 FSM fault code 41 is caused by a problem in the alternator control circuit. Had the alternator tested and it passed. Anyone run a Ross this fault code before in their 89 CSX?
