mini runs 13s!!

Went out to the track last night for test-n-tune in my minivan. All my mods are the same as the last 14.05 run. Worked on my 60' times, I ran two 13 second passes on the same cooper cobra 205 60 R15s. Finally, finally, finally 13s! I have one video, I'll post it later.

Those are some good 60' times for a van with those tires! I had the same tires, but 205 50's and they spun through 3rd gear in my CSX-T!

Thanks all. I just got home from the midnights & I'm STOKED!!!! Hopefully someone can tell me where I stand on the street radial records, ran on my same cooper tires. Midnight drags do not give out timeslips, but I went up to the tower & got my printout, reads as follows;

I'm only disappointed that my son wasn't there to see or film it, his moms weekend. I had a friend there to film it, but he was at the concession stand getting beer 2 guys from tm.com & td.com were there as well. The crowd was just unreal.

I believe Gus was running a super 60 turbo on the van, then it got put on the acclaim. Yes, I'm askin about the street radial records, just crappy tires like what I run, no DRs, etc.

I have to give all my respect to the late Gus. If it weren't for his site packed with info, I would have probably never hit 13s. I think I may crank the boost up, throw in a little race gas & see what happens this weekend. Gus was a genius, & 1.9 60' is just insane!! BTW these passes were made on 91 octane pump gas & stock computer with some Gus inspired tuning.

That's cool. That's basically the compressor wheel I'm currently running on the GT. 53.1mm inducer, 71mm exducer, 56 trim.

Oh, here's the one video of 10-6-06. My damn buddy was visiting the concession for beers on the 13 second runs. I spun the tires on this launch to a 14.04. Funny thing is I still outran the 400hp 2006 6.0L GTO. It ran 14.1 to 14.3 all night. They must be PIG heavy.
