    Vacuum lines. Full rebuild.

    Hi all!

Please, help me with vacuum lines.

I have got 1992 dodge daytona with 2.5 k-engine, turbocharged with Garrett T-3 turbo.

Vacuum hoses and check valves was fully lost, and i want to rebuild all vacuum system completeness.

I use the scheme of chilton's book, but engine not runs Maybe, i make some things wrong?

And i can't understand some things at scheme.

What means ORIFICE and VACUUM EJECTOR?

Today i'll go to the garage and i will make photo of my ulgy realization of this scheme.

orifice I believe are restricters and the vacuum ejector is a device that makes vacuum from pressure.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venturi_effect.

I run a vacuum block with lines direct to the MAP, FPR, aftermarket boost controller, gauge. my blow off valve or bypass valve is connected direct to one of the throttle body nipples.
The factory boost control system will only work if you have the lines perfect.

The car doesn't need orifice or vacuum ejector to run. Orifice is to make the vacuum response more stable while vacuum ejector is to make cruise control work.
Replace your old parts or the broken ones with the new ones for the prices you can find on an Autozone Specials sale.

Thanks I think, find or make restrictors is not hard, but i dont know how i can find venturi-effect devices. Maybe anyone know partnumbers\links to rockauto?

This method sounds better, than original.

One more question about vacuum block. Is it simply empty box with several nipples, which connected to mainfold vacuum pressure source?

Your connection looks like connection on this scheme?

    Thanks!

Thanks! Can the lack of sensors be the reason of bad runnung engine in idle?

Both Throttle Body lines join together and go to the evap canaster.

    Thanks!

several minutes ago i tryin' to connect all pieces of this puzzle:

    My connections:

    Vacuum block:
1 - to the boost gauge (in saloon)
    2 - blocked
3 - first hose in first block
4 - first hose in third block (near map sensor)
    5 - to fuel vac
6 - first hose in second block

Main hose in vacuum block goes to injector intake block.

    In vapor canister:
big hose goes to pcv and both of throttle nipples through one-way-valves

bottom of air filter is blocked

second tube of second block (wastegate block?) goes to turbo-valve (boost valve on charger?)

    In brake booster:
thin line from brake booster goes to saloon
upper line goes to injector block
left tube goes to cruise actuator and to bottom of engine (turbocharger?) through one-way valves

PCV valve goes to air filter and to the line, that goes from vapor canister to throttle nipples, the end of this line connected to mainfold (?)

Now engine is running great, when accelerate, but idles bad.

throttle position sensor, idle sensor, map sensor, ignition coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires and air filter are new

    Photos:
    1) My vacuum block from ebay

    Two blocks (1st - purge(?), 2nd -wastegate(?))

    3) brake booster and his lines:

    4) Brake booster lines again

    5) two hoses from turbocharger: thin goes to second block (wastegate block?), big hose goes to brake booster line

    7) big hose goes from injector block to vacuum block, armored hose goes from fuel valve to vacuum block, and one more hose goes from mainfold(?) to PCV and to the throttle body line.

/// and this is original scheme/ diagram under the hood, but this engine was swapped several times in several bodies before me)) so, i think, there is no reason to look at it.

Please, help me to repair this dodge i haven't any ideas how it can works well.
