that's the one I ordered for a dakota. AIRTEX / WELLS 5S1022. Its thread size is too small.
like too small in diameter that you could use a bushing from something like 1/4 npt to 3/8 npt to get it to fit?

I used a standard 3/8 to 1/8 pipe bushing and drilled and tapped the id for the 1/4 pipe for the temp sensor (SU343 from AZ) cut off the hex portion and threaded onto the sensor and into the manifold.

The attachment isn't working, but that sounds like a great way to make it work without having to machine a custom bushing from scratch.
Thinking back now, I really wish I knew this years ago. I'm using a DOHC Neon intake on my 2.4, which I had to drill out to accept the 3/8" NPT sensor. I could have easily just drilled it for 1/4" back then.
