    Turbo Fuel Pump

I have a 1990 Dodge Omni that is 2.2 non turbo. I have recently been hearing my fuel pump making a high pitch noise. I am planning a long term project of putting a turbo engine from a PT GT or SRT-4 in it. My question is this, if my fuel pump dies soon, does it make sense to upgrade the tank and/or fuel pump to a turbo capable one? Is this going to be necessary for a turbo engine? Will it work with my current engine?

    Re: Turbo Fuel Pump

the fuel tank is the same as the turbo tank, so you wont need to upgrade the tank, just the pump assy. you should be able to upgrade the pump and have no ill effects on it now too.
