I have started a new one instead.
As per my posts in the factory race car thread - car is super super fast , and super fun. In fact I must say it is one of the most fun cars I have driven. Its a real super car experience.
Some issues have arisen the number 4 oil passage was leaking and I understand the is a common one weak spot in the t3 This head was repaired prior at some point. It just came back from the machine shop. I will post pictures asap.
The powder coating all looked great but did not hold up to the heat well.
It looked great on top , but after pulling head , it was largely peeled off underneath and along turbo.
It was very hard to see when it was in place.
The huge turbo might be a factor too! We had high exhaust temperatures for sure. I am not sure how this product has held up for other people. In this car it didn't last.
The jet-cool stuff is supposed to be the best product for thermal protection , and is guaranteed
I will have it back on Friday.
