Thank you. Larry is a pioneer and will always be in the world of 4cyl RWD turbo Dodges. He's discovered allot of things that many have used since and I've visited his log many times for ideas and reference. My goal was to do something a bit different while challenging my abilities in every area I could think of. I think this is going to be a really fun car when I get it done and much more fun than if I left it FWD.

You're going to need a couple of larger turbos.

I started some work on the rear suspension. It is very early stages but it will also be double A-arm pushrod IRS utilizing a Ford 8.8.

I think it needs a 4 rotor engine. Mike will be over to help you with that ASAP.

Hahaha, I'd totally do a Wankel build some day. Those engines intrigue me and I currently know very little about them. Plus I think the bigger than 2 rotors sound amazing.

Me too! I really want to import a Eunos Cosmo with the 20B, but I'd lose Mike as a friend (and I think it's outside my willing to pay budget). Anyway, next project log, all about rotories.

    Re: 93 2.4L Shadow Part 2 : Project Shadicorn

I think this was more exciting for me than it is on a build log for others but I placed the engine in the approximate location. Sometimes it feels like all I'm doing is not building but placing components and bars in jigs so you can stand back and stare at things helps solve current issues or reveal others that are hard to locate when working through a computer screen. Having the main tubes in place for the last few weeks has completely changed how I originally though I would get things done resulting in what I feel with be a stronger structure with better integration to the original uni-body. I'll stare at the engine while I prepare other areas and finish up the CAD models and let it ponder in my head for a while. I've found it's a great problem solving tool as it's amazing what time will unfold.

Looking good DJ! I like the artistic shots of the dirty engine/body.

Thanks Gary. I'm just trying to make a bare engine on 2x4s look as interesting as possible to fake myself into feeling like it's progress.

Shouldn't be a problem. I fell like completion is just around the corner.

Hey DJ, with all your obvious skills have you ever thought about building a car that can turn corners too?

Well I didn't choose an IRS, pushrod suspension and widened track for the purpose of drag racing.

Guess it's a brain fart on me. I thought you had stated earlier that it was going to have decreased turning ability and was going to be street limited.
