Bracket for Matchbox, but....more than likely I will need to be at work.

I'm all for a heads up class, but we tried for years and couldn't fill it. WAY back, like 2001, we had 4 classes:
FWD H/U Shootout
FWD bracket
Neon H/U Shootout
Neon Bracket
I don't think any class had 16 cars and it fizzled quickly. After that it I personally promoted the FWD Shootout class for many years and had anywhere from 4 to 10 cars show up and it pretty much fizzled out completely.
Bracket vs. H/u Shootout is difficult equation:
Bracket - Fair for more to race, bleachers are a ghost town for a final with a stock 2013 Dart racing a stock 2006 Sebring.
Shootout - More fun for spectating and IMO racing too, however, we have a lower turnout because many race to win and a quick car running 13's still might not have a chance with some of the quicker cars out there
Personally, maybe I just root for the underdog, but for the past 3 years I've supported the smaller "STICK" class to try to help it survive. It's also kind of fun to race a quick 4 banger against big V8's too
SHAMELESS PLUG: For anyone who wants to race 4 cylinder Turbo Mopars, come out to SDAC-26!!! We have classes as follows:
-Quick 8 Shootout
-Heads up race
-Bracket
-Turtle Race
