    Andy,
Another nice and necessary product! I was just talking to friend about this. Either myself or friend will more than likely buy one for his GLHS resto. I sent him an email link.

Are the original ones plastic? Sorta looks that way in the picture, but I always thought it was metal.

The original looks sort of like a high temp phenolic

Originals are plastic. I don't know what type.
The pad slips over a metal tab on the linkage rod.

I know mine is missing that little hump in the middle. What is that for?

It's there for linkage alignment. You line it up to a hole in the reverse lockout bracket while you tighten the locknut on the main shift rod.

Yeah, cause nothing's more real than being stranded states away from home with a hole in the side of your 525 case

Someone I consider a transmission authority in the TM world said the case is not the problem. YMMV.

    Hey Andy,
Wanted to order a couple of these but your link doesn't seem to do anything for me when I hit the "buy now". Can I buy these any other way? Could also be interested in window regulator. Didn't know these were available.

It may be an issue with the Shapeways site. Try again in a little while.
    Thanks
