Short throw Hurst Pistol Grip in my 87 Shelby Z

Title says it all. Six or 7 years ago I made my first short throw shifter using a B&M leather knob. I managed to keep the reverse lockout. But I've always wanted a pistol grip. Finally got around to making it today. Flickr album is public, there's a ton of photos here https://www.flickr.com/photos/75619516@N06/albums/72157664678926933

Please excuse the dirty interior - the car's still up in the air without transmission and the shifter is obviously not completely finished / installed. What's not shown here is the mods for using the California Push-Pull cables with heim joints.

    Couple quick pics:

Pretty sweet. Would like to see the heim joint mods if and when you decide to take pics. I've always wanted to do this myself.

Looks great, very nice work! I've envisioned someday fabbing up the exact same setup for my son's 92 Daytona.
