Look for a Dodge Intrepid of Chrysler LHS, that is what i am running in my 83 Rampage. It is wider and works like a charm. I do have one from an 80 Omni, but not sure on the condition.
1984 part book:
5207 117 body style: 24,28,44 MIRROR, Inside Rear View
On my CSX I used a generic Dorman 8" mirror from Rock Auto, like $10 and it looks just like the factory unit. You will have to hit a glass shop or GM dealer for the correct metal "shoe" for the window. I got one for free from the glass shop guy off a broken windshield.
Working on clearing the decks.

find one from a J body convertable or something newer with the switch and map lights on the bottom edge
you'll be glad you did and will probably even want to save it for the next ride after this one - I DID !
- a mopar one should fit the mount button already on your windshield
