Has anyone tried this kit from autozone? It is a little pricey but it is available. I went to the Pro-King website and it looks promising.

That's expensive, but those synchros didn't come cheap from Mopar either... IIRC the 3/4 brass rings were $30+ each from Mopar years ago.
Years ago, someone offered a rebuild kit for all the manual transmissions. I picked up a 555 rebuild kit for $80 I believe. Don't remember for the life of me where I got it though, lol
autozone is alway pricey. Google manual transmission parts, I'm sure you can do better.
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] 86 Daytona Turbo Z C/S with a full 89 Shelby swap, back on the road and soon to be painted (and lose that Oggie Fisher black) 83 Porsche 944, 5 speed, all stock. 2014 Toyota Tacoma 4x4, 5 speed, daily driver. 2017 Trek 1.2 bicycle.
It does cost. When they are gone it will cost even more.
Look through advance auto also... I bought one from them and piled as many coupons on it as I could. Knocked the price down by almost $150.

Looking at the picture, it appears to have the shift pads too. If you have the means, I'd say go for it.
Then let us know how it works so the rest of the board can buy them all up.
I have a kit made by Transtar but it is about to be used in a build. Looking for a replacement to put on the shelf. I will get one but don't know when I would use it.
At one time, I offered the full kits with shift fork pads and everything for half that, in US dollars, I'll have to see if they have any left.

I'm going to revive a year old thread. I'm looking for a kit myself and found this http://www.transmissionpartsus.com/BK377WS.html. Seems like a better price.

Most likely.
Vintage Parts in Wisconsin was the final source for the front pinion shaft bearing and race. Last time I checked their inventory one of the two parts was already gone and the other one was almost depleted. The only source for that bearing and race will be some kit already out there on the shelf somewhere waiting for someone to come along.

also the problem with buying a kit from these guys is the price listed there isnt the today's price. they end up sending you an email saying that their web page isnt up to date and they need to ding your credit card for more money. call before you click to get today's pricing on it if you end up going with a half kit that is.
