All of that is no longer available. Lengel on here was making the shift fork pads, but I'm not sure if he currently has any for sale. You might try Marty on here with Arizona Parts. He may have some NOS pieces.

That sucks.... Thanks for the info, so anyone who has an a555 that needs parts just chucks them? What's the normal replacement trans for these? Or can you use synchros and pads from another like trans?

No they're not pitched. You can get the brass rings for 1-2 out of any 87-88 trans. The fork pads I've either picked up out of a used trans or purchased the brass ones when Adam makes a batch of them. If you put a post in the parts wanted section, someone will most likely be able to set you up.

When Ray and I rebuilt the 555 for my GLHS, we mixed and matched the best parts from a 520, 555, and 2 525s to get one good trans. As a result, I've got several boxes of leftover stuff, some of which may be of use to you. Problem is, I honestly don't know what's what.

So my question is, what kind of time frame are you working with? I had planned on bringing everything to SDAC to sell what I could, but I'm guessing you don't want to wait that long.

So for those of us hoarding parts; is there a thread to discuss what wear parts to save (ie. syncros, stop rings etc.) and what transmissions these parts can be found in? I'm thinking of a spreadsheet where you enter your transmission and the applicable donor transmissions are listed for each part.

Almost everything is usable from all the transmissions. Save it all.

As far as the OP, Lengel just posted that he's doing another run. If you want some you had better get on it.

now that lengel has posted that he's making more, i do have a few sets of the gray equivalents should people need them sooner then later. i didnt wanna throw them up for sale as i use them in my trans rebuilds and didnt wanna short myself or my customers.
