    Aftermarket Speedometers

Are there any aftermarket speedometers that work with our speed sensor?

Any autometer electric speedo will work with our stock speed sensor. They have a calibration option. You hook it up, enter calibration mode and drive exactly 2 miles at 45mph, and it's calibrated to your sensor.

I have one at home I was using but took out and am looking to sell if you're interested.

Not sure about cable driven speedometers though, but you can always just swap in an electric sender and run the wires.

I use one of these on the Matchbox....uses GPS. Takes a bit longer to obtain a signal than does a garmin but really accurate. When I drag race I put tape over the odometer section because it can be set up for 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. I dont have to mess with estimations of my mph when using different diameter tires to drive anywhere too. Wiring so simple, even I could do it! Im thinking of mounting it seperatly from my home made dash and be able to remove it at the track...using a simple cigarette lighter plug in for power or just male/female connections.

I use a GPS sender in my speedo and yes, it takes a while to get a signal, but works good otherwise. (Consulier)

Just swap to the electronic speed sensor, I think 90 and up. I have that in my car because of the exhaust placement, seems to be working fine with the computer in relation to the AIS. Looking to get some SpeedHut gauges that I THINK will drop in the stock gauge cluster with little modification to the cluster chassis, hopefully. The gauges are 1" thick instead of most of the aftermarket ones, which are anywhere from 2-3.5" thick and you can customize them in many ways and supposedly are made in the US.
