2.5 or 3 inch exhaust for Turbo Voyager?

I have no plans of the Voyager being a dragster or land speed record holder.
A Garrett swap and some head porting will happen sometime in the future. I want this to be a driver.
Is there an advantage to 3" exhaust over 2.5" other than it's easy to fit to a van? Less noise is desirable too.

The advantage to me would be if you were interested in 3" minivan exhaust kit i bought and never used.
TU 3" minivan (new), TU 3" downpipe (used but vgc)

Yikes. You going to SDAC 26? Or you would want before then.
Here's the ad from last year:

$200 + actual shipping, or free delivery to SDAC (looks like i should be able to make it)

I bet UPS is going to be a bit pricey. I need a bigger box to fit everything. I can try to get a price in the next couple days.
Or i could try taping everything into a big bundle and putting the donut, flanges, and other bits in a seperate flat rate box.

A guesstimate is fine. I won't know if I'll make SDAC until it gets closer. If I can convince someone to bring it back, I'll let you know.
For now I'll bring the Voyager to the muffler shop and have a system installed.
