I wouldn't say nervous, more excited. Kind of like when I find exactly what I'm looking for in the junk yard, I forget to get the build year and vin off the car. That's why I'm always asking you year/make/model for the Volvo fan.

Well I still only have a 12.6 second mini-van. But on the bright side I have a 12.6 second mini-van! I need more water on my slicks. I can't get them to break loose so I end up just dragging my van forward with my e-brake locked. I need to make some type of sprayer, probably cobble something together out of windshield washer parts. I also need to work on my launch controller. Maybe some adjusting will help. I DID DATA LOG MY TWO RUNS. All it took was Harry betting me a dollar that I wouldn't remember. Cha-Ching I gots me a dolla! I won't be able to post them until Monday. My laptop is at the shop and I'm going on a ride up north this weekend.

I'm more interested in MPH (what the car can do) vs what time I ran (what I can do). 110mph was my goal and I got it.

I ran two, AJ ran three. My MPH wasn't getting any faster and either were AJ's.

The lines were way too long after that, and I decided to call it a night after the second run. AJ had a terrible 3rd run and he called it after.

I think I'm done. 12.6 is more than respectable for a daily driven mini-van. At best I might be able to squeak out a couple more tenths. I'm tired of building transmissions and would rather spend my money on other things like my Harley. Besides I have more fun showing it off at car shows than racing it.

This was a u-joint that had the grease fitting in the cap, not the body. I was told (or I heard) it was stronger. Since this joint really doesn't flex I'm going to replace it (along with the intermediate shaft) with a solid u-joint, one that doesn't have a grease fitting. I'd love to just have a straight shaft made.
