Part number for the Correct Minivan Upper Hose

Does anyone know the correct part number for the upper radiator hose for a 1989 Plymouth Voyager 2.5 Turbo?


I ordered a new radiator and hoses from RockAuto for the 1989 Voyager Turbo.
The lower hose was correct, but the upper I received was not. The old van hose is shorter than the one I received.
The hose I received looks like the hose on my TII Lancer.
I checked on Rock's site and all of the hoses for the 1989 Turbo Vans look like the wrong one I received.
The hose for the 1990 turbo vans looks even more different.

Dayco 71196. The 90 might be different as the rad can be a different design.

The upper hose part number for all 1989 2.5L mini vans is the same whether turbo or not.

Mopar 4401196 cross references to the Dayco 71196 that I received. All the other cross referenced hoses look the same as the Dayco. I'll have to get creative.

most of the time the dayco hoses are made extra long. I usually cut off 1/2 to 2/4 in off the ends. Once the ends are cut off then straightening the hose out will shorten it up.

The length difference between the hoses is in the middle, between the bends.

I think when I looked it up all the 90's had the radiator that uses that upper bracket, v6, turbo and non. The 89 rads just bolt in, same one for all models too. I also incorrectly assumed the two years were the same.. My 89 upper hose says 71196. Ah nevermind, I see thats what you already got.
