I get the cast off 3 weeks from today. I hope to back to soldering shortly after that. Dr. thinks I'll need some rehab...

Re: BoostButton - hold on computers and cables

Cast comes off on Monday. But, I'm keeping the hold on computers until I get caught up. We're also starting work on our basement, so my workbench will be moving soon. Not sure where yet...

Re: BoostButton - hold on computers and cables

OK, got my workbench all moved last week. I turned the cables and latch boards back on (if anyone was waiting).

Still holding new orders for computers until I get caught up on the old orders. If you have an old order with me, I will be getting them done in the next 2 weeks; first-in first-out basis.

Already placed my flash cable order Can't wait to get a tune flashed into my black Daytona and hear it run again! Hopefully with enough time to work out the bugs and get it tagged and drive it to SDAC 26!

Re: BoostButton - hold on computers and cables

Rob, do you have an off the shelf 40% inj SMEC cal for a ported/big valve 2.5, TU header, hybrid turbo that will run Redbox for SDAC?

We could try the StgIV cal, but I think it would be better if I just built one for you. Do you need a socketed SMEC, too?

Re: BoostButton - hold on computers and cables

I'm 95% sure I have one but loaded onto a chip and shipped direct to Jacksons shop would be ideal. If it's an older socketed set up, you changed chips in the last couple years right? SO new chips fit new sockets and are not interchangeable right?

Go flashable Alan! It's pretty sweet. And the next generation MPScanDroid /MPSciLink is planned to have flashing capability.
No messing with chips or chip burners.

Pretty sure all our sockets use the sf512 chips.

That's what I have in the black v6 car, just waiting on my flash cable to come in so I can try it out.

Smec? No, a socketed SMEC is a socketed SMEC. I usually add a 32-pin socket to the SBEC's now to make them future-proof for a flash module upgrade...

Huh? All the cals are AC compatible. Juts have to start with a cal that has AC enabled; as it's not just the flag for AC that needs to be changed...

Yes, Redbox is SMEC, it was converted by PO to an 89 Lebaron GTC motor and harness.

Re: BoostButton - hold on computers and cables

the last we chatted in august you said the SMEC t2 templates needed to be updated for AC. I guess it's fixed now and that is awesome.
