HELP - Replacing Brittle Vacuum Lines / Hoses

Does anyone know the exact size of vacuum lines / hoses I need to replace the stock lines on an '86 Daytona Turbo Z. Still have stock vacuum block. Mine have shattered and need replaced.

Are the lines SAE or metric ID lines?

I just checked my 87 and they are 9/32 or 4mm OD.

Should I just replace the lines or is it really worth it to replace the OEM original vacuum block too?

Besides the 1/8" size needed, is the larger vacuum line SAE 1/4" then?

Personally I replaced mine with pisco fittings, easy to take on and off.
Work from -29.5inHg to 150psi.

Yes the other line is 1/4" according to the part document.
Do you have a copy of the parts list?

42draftdesign makes a fantastic vacuum block, made in the USA
I used one of those in wrinkle black and vw vacuum hose at 3.5mm ID. Best vacuum line bar non. Worth the entry price.

Can't stand vac blocks. Why put 70's Ford tech on your 80's Chryco? Vac lines are to be as short as possible for quick response. If you have to change all the air pressure in a big line over to a big vac block and then all the other lines it slows response time of your fueling and ignition. There's a reason why new cars have the map sensor mounted directly to the intake.

or the poly is nice as it never hardens but is a little more heat sensative. I use it and just make sure it's not touching the cylinder head.

The small stuff is 5/32 (4mm) and the larger stuff is 1/4"

I put a dab of Gorilla glue in the middle of the lines in the 4 way splitter just to make sure they stay. I like that it looks stock and functions as quick as it can.
