Ok, I already have the H4 conversion swap, and have relays for my HL's, but the damn bulbs suck. Silverstars have sucked in every car I put them in, they keep burning out, so I dont want those. I have tried a few different hyper white/blue bulbs from ebay and they only last 2 months or so. What bulbs do you guys use? I dont mind paying for good bulbs if they last longer than 2 months. Putting bulbs in my HL's is a pain, I have to take out the whole assembly. Oh 88 Sundance.
I bought my H4 conversions from Rally Lights and upgraded to the 100/80's Hyper White with Optilux bulbs. The output is great, so much better then the sealed beams.
I would check Rallylights.com and see if you can purchase the bulbs from them. I had great service. If you don't buy from there at least you will have an idea of some decent bulbs.

If you want to stay DOT Legal the Hella Xenon +30 or +50 are good from rallylights. They are a little bit more white than standard, but they by no means look like a fake HID (those drive me crazy, which is probably why I like the Hella's).

well, one of mine blew out. I had to put a regular bulb in it. The regular el cheapo bulb lights up way more road than the crappy tiwanese bulbs i got from ebay. So guess I better get on this. For now I am gonna put just a stock H4 in the other side.
