I currently have a 1989 Omni that I'm going to swap a 555 in. I have most of the parts but one of the main ones I need to find or figure out at least is the pedals. I'm under the assumption that L Body is L body and no others will really swap in. So does this mean all L Body pedals and brackets will swap? Also, if I'm wrong please tell me. I was married once, I'm used to being wrong.

Yes you need L-body pedals. 1990 pedals could have changed (not sure) because of the complete different dash layout for air bag compliance. The very early L-bodies had a different dash as well, so there could be some changes in the very early years. However, not many of those left to worry about. You would really need to check parts catalogs to be sure. Anything from 85-89 will fit for sure. More than likely earlier models as well will fit.

Sorry about the late response. I'm between a move and a bad deal on a subaru. Thank you very much for the responses. Gary, i'm gonna have to take you up on them eventually. Don't hold them for me though if someone else wants them.
