Feeler for crank pulley diesgned with trigger wheel mount

I am looking into getting this pulley made for myself in the near future. I am running MoTeC on the car and needed an external crank trigger. I know Mega Squirt and most other stand alone systems can use a trigger wheel. My old setup is bulky and heavy. I had this pulley drawn up and sent to a local machine shop for a quote. He asked me how many I wanted and then he would quote me a price. I told him just 1 but if this is something anyone else could use I will have more made. Just putting a feeler out there. I could copy my bracket to hold the hall sensor and put together a kit but for now just the pulley would be available. SBC bolt pattern. Alternator and water pump only on this pulley.

I'm waiting back on the price per pulley. I'm going to try and draw up the bracket I use for the sensor but I'm not running a stock alternator bracket so not sure what good that will do for anyone else.

Anyway to use this trigger as the trigger in place of the T3 flywheel? I would think so.

No. Unless you design the tones notches where the TIII's are.

I'd be interested in several, as we would like to start marketing an aem version/harness/tunes for the 2.2/2.5 etc.. and a crank trigger is needed

Re: Feeler for crank pulley diesgned with trigger wheel mount

Kind of on topic, I am in the process of putting MS3x into my car. What, if any, would the side effects be of removing the distributor and capping the hole? Would the lack of the distributor drive cause any unwanted effects on the I shaft? ie take out bearings?

Re: Feeler for crank pulley diesgned with trigger wheel mount

I'm interested in a price as well. Going with ms3x later this year from my SDS standalone.

Forcefed, I've run my engine with the distributor hole plugged off. I don't have that many miles on it but there shouldn't be an issue.
