WTB: 1988 Turbo P Body Underhood Harness

I need a good uncut, unmodified underhood harness, mine is a cobbled together SBEC harness converted to SMEC and there are just too many gremlins for me to continue.

The application is an 87 CSX that has been converted to SMEC.

Might consider an 89 if an 88 doesn't pan out.

How far off is the Daytona harness if I can't find a "P" body? Those seem to be easier to find...

I should have a decent '89 Shadow ES Turbo underhood harness somewhere in my garage. It's from a 4-door 2.5L TI/A520 car and SMEC. I will check this Saturday.

I believe an 89 harness is what I used for my car when i added in the r/t sbec harness under the hood. If I recall correctly, the rubber boot that goes thru the firewall is in a different spot or a different size, i forget exactly. So try and save your original grommet for the main harness where it goes inside the car. I remember MOST of the wiring is plug and play with minor reworking involved.

Thanks for the info Joe; When I did my CSXT I cheated and used an 89 CSX harness, so the SBEC conversion was real easy.

Found one; Had to buy a complete 88 CSX-T to do it. The car is trashed and beyond my desire to save, so parts will live on in my nephews 87 CSX and "T". Rust free parts will be available soon.
