Put the ac compressor on the glhs omni today and that upper radiator hose is actually getting pinched by the compressor end.
This does not seem right at all.
Thoughts?

GLHS radiator or G/J/H/Q radiator? Factory GLHS top hose or Daytona TII hose? Powertrain not centered correctly? Adjustable rear mount too far pre-loaded? Most seem to have at least 1/4" clearance. How bout a pic?
Todd
glhs radiator omnipotent top rad hose. I think its centered. Preload is fine. Posting pics on here is near impossible.

Thanks Harry. I tried to post mine and they worked. They normally disappear after an hour.
I changed out the radiator and that gave me maybe an 1/8" more. I then cut the upper hose where it fits the upper radiator hose location. Took about 3/8" off. I now have maybe 3/8 clearance between compressor and upper hose. Still looks to close.
Well if I were to venture a guess or two I see a couple things going on. One is the reproduction hose could be cut a bit long. Better to be too long than short. Sounds like you fixed that issue. Then the pin in radiator top and rubber mounting bracket does not seem to be installed correctly. In the photo, the pin is offset in the rubber bushing. It appears that the left and right radiator locating brackets are flip-flopped left to right. Did you know that Whitter plant put the locating brackets on the opposite side as marked? So the left goes on the right and vise versa. I think if you try reversing them, you will find they fit better. Also note the GLHS intercooler brackets were modified G-body brackets that enabled the radiator to fit better against the core support. Check that too. Lots of small changes were made to the "S" cars that not a lot of people know about, unless they have had a few apart. Is that fan shroud the factory GLHS one? That too was modified so the hose and shroud fit better. It seems like to me, the radiator could fit a bit tighter in the core support. All these mods add up to make a bit more clearance.
Not trying to be critical here, just trying to help...
Todd
Being critical leads to success if you ask me. The shroud is a stock shroud but with a spal fan bolted to it. I'll check the provided list tomorrow. I'm a tad 'omnied' for the week.
