    89 shelby daytona

I have my 89 shelby daytona totalled. Got an 88 shelby z. Question is would it be better to use my k frame and rear axle out of the 89. Or would my coil over suspension and vented rear brakes go right on.

use the 89 K frame , the 89 brakes , your best suspension pieces and leave the 87 trailing axle alone except for swaping the brakes over to it

bushings in the 87 trailing axle are said to be better than anything else so you leave that alone

yep, the 86-88 big bar DAYTONA ONLY got solid bushings that are harder than anything out there, even poly. Made that mistake once. The big bar on my 87 Shelby Lancer has holy bushings though Thankfully I have an 86 Daytona CS rear axle that has the bad a$$ bushings in it waiting to go in with 89 Vented 11" setup.
