Sweet Project! Loving the widebody. The 18's sounds like they would look out of place on a P-body but, I've never seen a widebody P-body with 18's lol. Keep us posted and good luck!

I'm looking forward to see your progress on this project. May inspire me to learn TIG welding.

So I see how you made a filler for the top hole. Did you just cut the line at the top and then cut from the line down and add metal connecting the front of the fender to the rear of the fender?

I had 18x9's previously but they poked out a tad bit and never caught traction as good as I had wanted. maybe now they'll hook better

I used the factory body line as the lower line so it still followed as so but cut up from there

I knew this would look good!! I just never did it since I didn't want to ruin a numbered car by modifying the rear quarters permanently. I will be keeping an eye on this thread as you progress

Is this offer open to anyone? I'd like to get into TIG welding. Right now I gas weld 99% of what I do and MIG a little but that's mostly for tacking things while figuring out fitment and then gas weld because I have better control.

Thanks man! I'm pretty excited to see what she looks like all finished up. The car should be up and finished by spring if all goes as planned!

That is looking great Brett.......if that's your real name. I've been trying to picture a wide-P-body as I feel I'm going to have to go that route with where my build is taking me. Luckily you're trying it first so I get the privilege of some good visuals. Do you have any 3/4 shots of the car so far?

Cool. Let me know if you need help moving. I can probably rope a few other TMers to help. We're going to be doing beer & pizza at Vic's place (32nd St & Thunderbird) soon to help him get his Rampage running again.

That piece in the middle of the fender is what I was asking about in my first question. This pic cleared it up for me thanks.
