Already did that route and have them too. I had them made exactly as the stock ones except add 1" to the overall length of the short cable. Well they added 1" to the long cable instead of the short cable. The short cable the same length as the stock one, except when they made the short cable it was made incorrectly and will no contract enough between the transmission and the crossover pin to access 5th gear and reverse.

I am not sure whether David at http://www.push-pull.com will take this cable back since I've had them for quite a while now or I will just have to have another short cable made. The only problem is that the stock cable they used to make it is now on the car. It was hard enough to try and locate the longer cables originally. I really need to locate another 4446854 or 4504338 cable to have a duplicate made "correctly" this time.

When I send in my A555 cables to be custom made for my GLH, I draw on a paper with current dimension and dimension that I need them to be in. They came back perfect. I'd suggest you get in touch with them first and see what they can do for you.

If you have the correct G/J crossover cable it should fit just fine in your swap. I have done about 3 now in an early Daytona with Daytona cables and there is no problems with the length. How are you routing the crossover cable? Got a pic of that? Where are you gong thru the floor the stock hole?

Been there done that. They made one correct and one incorrect. I already installed the correct one. I also had to install the oem cable in place of the cable that Push-Pull,Inc., made. Now I don't have one to sendback to Push-Pull Inc., to have them re-make the one they didn't make correctly.

I'd take my OEM cable out, put it next to the bad one, takes bunch of photos and send them the bad one back along with the photos.
