Beautiful, Black with red, my favorite color combo!!

Strange there are so many differences between the ES and LX.

    Thanks

The mirrors don't work on my van either. The wires inbetween the door and hinge pillar are probably broken. I remember fixing a lot of those back in the day.

I received my 1989 Plymouth Voyager brochure today. Page 12 shows the party potential of the Chrysler Minivans.

Solo cups everywhere and coffee for the morning after.

I have solo cups ready to travel.

    Re: Turbo Minivan Wanted

And I have found that the 5 passenger van as shown is NOT Very party friendly either. Glad I got rid of that one (BlueWrench) Now a 7 passenger Mini (like Woody or Whiteout) with the middle seat removed has a much better party potential for boisterous OR intimate parties

^LOL, I never knew the convert a bed option was only avail in 5 passenger-I guess I'll never have one of those. And yeah, I slept in Woody a few hours a night in the CVS parking lot(didn't sleep much!) during the Big D days Sucked and was awesome at the same time

    Re: Turbo Minivan Wanted

I had towed my van down to Tucson to race and on the way back I was so tired, since the van had the seats out, I was contemplating pulling over to take a nap. The only thing that prevented me was the lack of a pillow and blanket.

I have some friends the want to go to Sturgis this year. If I go I'm getting a bike trailer and will be towing my bike with my van. To keep cost down I'll be sleeping in my van since it's an 18 hour trip from Phoenix.

    Re: Turbo Minivan Wanted

The Voyager needed struts and shocks badly. I did some shopping online and found that MOOG sells a complete strut assembly for the Voyager/ Caravan twins.
Everything is new, springs, mounts, etc. $107 each, includes hardware and shipping. Best of all, not dicking around with the spring compressor.
20 minutes and the whole thing is new.
The new struts even came with body bags for the old ones. A couple photos show them ready for a two for one burial.

I have a few more things to do before I get it out to see how they ride. I know these aren't Koni's, but they have to better than old and worn.

    Re: Turbo Minivan Wanted

Wow, that's a pretty sweet deal, When Woody needed new struts I put some Rock Auto cheapies on and regretted it right away. By 5-6K miles one side was completely shot. I traded them out for Koni's but Daytona Koni's so I lost 2 inches of travel which I still miss over big bumps I do have some Mini Koni's now but don't want to raise the front back up that 2" again. So I have an idea to cut the strut tower tops off and extend them 2", there is room under hood but it's a pretty labor intensive maneuver and I've been wrenching on other projects so it will have to wait
