    Omni Hatch weather stripping.

My rear hatch leaks at the top when it rains. Anybody found a good seal to use for inside the hatch? THX!

Is the seal bad or is the hatch out of adjustment?
Another thing to check is if the water is coming in through the tail lights or even around the glass.

It's coming from the top, I can see the drips since I don't have an interior. Seal just looks smashed/worn down. I'll check it some more. Either way it would be nice to have fresh rubber in there. I didn't know if anybody had a good replacement application we could use. Thx

IIRC Jon Trotter used the rear hatch seal out of a windstar on his Charger. It was nearly perfect fit wise. I think he had to trim a bit off of it, but you wouldn't know it didn't belong in there. That's where I would start.

Why wouldn't he just tell me that? GEEZ! That's Jon Trotter for you.

I have a nice hatch seal from a Daytona. It's the same thing, just a little longer.

I had a leak because the window heater wire that comes in at the top was scrunching the weather strip. You might check for that.
