I registered the other day (I actually forgot until the wife reminded me!). Going to be attempting to get the major job on the car done...gotta be on the road no later than the 23rd (I think)

Rob, it sucks that you can't use a '90 computer...I have one on those!

    If you're talking to me, I can use a 90 or a 91 computer, it's 92-up I can't use.

I feel your pain. Charger should run tomorrow, then I have to change oil on the wife's car and do a tune up on the Ford, then I can pull the Caliber in and hope I get it done in time. New tires, restore the wheels, recover the driver's seat, replace the splash pan in the nose (again, which means the nose has to come off), and give the whole thing a badly needed detail. Might need rear brakes too.

I can do all that in two weeks, right?

Gonna see what the Scamp can do on the auto-X. Never done it before, so this may be interesting... I even had to buy a helmet...

I saw that! Glad you're going to try it, you'll have a blast for sure. There was a guy who brought an El Camino to an event last year and he didn't go fast, but he had a crazy good time.

We now represent 7/8 of the entries. This should be a blast.

That's what it's all about. Having a good time!!!

I'm taking in the whole experience this year, auto-X, drag racing, car show, fun run, the whole smash...

Now, as long as I don't break anything in the process.... I still have to drive it home...

I'm not sure how many of you guys are coming, but Jim Riser was looking for a roommate a while back.

I can almost guarantee that you guys will beat me and I've autcrossed a couple of times now. I'm terrible at it, but it's a lot of fun.

I just booked the Quality Inn and Suites across the street for $77 a night.
I'm all registered for the autox and drag racing.

You and Greg both will do fine. First run is the toughest, but you'll get the hang of it quickly. It's a blast and I can't wait to do it whenever I can.

You do well every time I think. As you say though, you're having fun even when you're not finishing first. I don't ever get close and I always love it.

No I wasn't able to fit that in the budget but I highly recommend this format as I did one earlier this year and had alot of fun.

Just in case anybody needs one. G-Force has a killer deal on Snell M-2005 rated helmets on their ebay page. $36! http://www.ebay.com/itm/G-FORCE-Raci...1OlzAg&vxp=mtr

I got mine yesterday. The visor comes off quickly with 3 screws.

I wasn't going to spend a lot since I will probably only do this once or twice a year....
