We're right on the verge of triple digits here. It's almost getting too hot.
Yeah, but she didn't tell you about yesterday in Detroit. It reached 93.
I remember Memphis at SDAC 12. It was mid to high 90's every day and high humidity to go along with it. And not what Michigan calls high humidity, this was southern high humidity. It was miserable every single day.

Dunno that I'm going to have the Masi swap done. I worked my butt off this weekend, but things are just taking too much time. If I have to...I'll drive it stock! Screw it!

I honestly don't know if Nebraska humidity compares or not, all I know is that right now the air smells wet outside.
ONE WEEK until take off to SDAC. So much to still do. Not to the car, but to work. I told myself I am taking off no matter what.
Great stuff for great cars! Poly engine mounts and bushings at: http://www.polybushings.com
It will be hot, but this won't be anything new to the area.

Only 2700 miles to go!

For everyone, the price is now $75, not the original $150. No reason not to go now.
Also, don't forget to register for the autocross on Saturday hosted by the local NASA chapter. Very excited we can work with both groups for one event!

Anybody need any body or interior parts off a Spirit RT that I can bring to sell at SDAC? Would make funding my trip a little easier, as I'm still trying to get enough money rounded up for fuel and registration If I can fit it inside the car I can bring it. Ground effects, steering wheel, maybe seats, lights etc. Might have some other stuff kicking around also off other cars. T2 airboxes, taillights, a 525 trans, small spline semi-puck clutch disc, yada yada...
Hey Jon have you approached any cheerleaders or dance teams about a fund raising car wash? I see there's a comm college just down the street!
It's not fun unless you have to rip things apart just a couple days before a big road trip.
